Have Fun and Save Energy with a TV-Be-Gone

I’m not a great fan of TVs to be honest. Especially when they are just left on for the sake of it in the background. Used like this they kill conversation and entrance people who might otherwise be speaking to you.
Anyway – I was recently given a ‘TV Be Gone’ as a present and so was able to put this tiny device of almost God like powers to the test. And it worked.
As it claims it can turn off most televisions in the UK within a range of up to 15 metres. This would be fair I think. I took the gadget on a walk through central London, the Tottenham Court Road area to be precise. The home of London’s television shops.
I found that I could walk into shops and almost instantly turn off around 90% of the televisions there. Obviously the shop assistants loved this, and were left ever so slightly confused and bewildered as to what was going on.
I also discovered that the device can turn off televisions through glass – so it was possible to shut down window display televisions without even going into the shop. Whilst doing this the disappointment on the faces of lost souls watching TV through the shop windows was breathtaking.
You could walk down your street and turn off your neighbours TV with this thing without too much of a problem. It works on most TVs.
Even more fun can be had in pubs, betting shops, hotels – anywhere really where there are too many televisions! Highly recommended.

Can “Politicians Be Gone” and “Religion Be Gone” be far behind? Let us all hope and pray! (umm… sorry)

That would be a neat trick.
