It’s the new year and the UK appears to be in financial turmoil, with nothing but economic doom and gloom on the horizon.
If you live in the UK and have bought financial services products, such as a mortgage, loan, credit or store card recently there is a fairly good chance you may have been bundled PPI – (Payment Protection Insurance) when you signed up for your loan or whatever.
In most cases there was no need for you to buy this extra insurance, and in some cases people have paid thousands of pounds of these charges. Many people have been mis-sold in this way. Swindled. Conned. Taken for a ride.
You can get the money back though, and some websites will take on your case on a no-win no-fee basis, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
